Switchboard lineup, transformer, and distribution — commercial electrical work by our team.
Who We Work With
- Manufacturing and industrial facilities — production equipment power, machine connections, three-phase distribution, motor controls, and plant maintenance
- Medical and healthcare — where code requirements, emergency power, and working around continuous operations all shape the job
- Retail and restaurants — fit-outs, remodels, and service work scheduled around business hours
- Warehouses and distribution — high-bay lighting, racking and conveyor power, dock equipment
- Offices and commercial buildings — tenant improvements, distribution, lighting, and data infrastructure
- Schools, municipal buildings, and public facilities — performed under public works registration with prevailing wage and certified payroll compliance
- General contractors and construction managers — as the electrical subcontractor on commercial projects, with the certifications many public bids require
Commercial Electrical Construction
New construction and ground-up projects
We handle complete electrical systems for new commercial construction — service entrance and distribution, panels and transformers, branch circuits, lighting and controls, fire alarm and low-voltage rough-in, and final trim and commissioning. We coordinate with general contractors, other trades, and inspectors to keep the electrical scope from becoming the constraint on your schedule.
Retail fit-ups and tenant improvements
Fit-out work rewards contractors who move quickly and understand landlord requirements, and punishes those who do not. We handle demolition of existing electrical, new distribution and circuiting, lighting packages, signage and display power, and the coordination with building management that keeps a fit-out on schedule.
The most valuable electrical decisions get made before anyone breaks ground. We participate early — reviewing drawings, flagging conflicts and constructability problems, developing realistic budgets and schedules, and identifying long-lead equipment before it becomes a delay. Catching a distribution problem in the drawing set costs a conversation; catching it in the field costs a change order.
Value engineering means maximizing function while reducing cost — not cheapening the installation. In practice that is proposing equivalent equipment with better availability, simplifying a distribution layout, phasing work to control labor costs, or identifying where a specification exceeds what the application actually requires. Done well, it protects both the budget and the finished result.
Commercial Electrical Service & Maintenance
When electrical problems interrupt a business, the cost is rarely the repair — it is the downtime. We diagnose and repair failed circuits, tripping breakers, power quality problems, damaged equipment connections, and failing distribution equipment, with 24/7 emergency response for facilities that cannot wait until Monday.
Buildings routinely outgrow the electrical service they were built with — added equipment, expanded operations, new tenants, EV charging. We evaluate capacity, upgrade panels and service entrances, replace obsolete and unsupported distribution equipment, and coordinate directly with the utility on service changes.
New services, service upgrades, and relocations mean working with the utility, and that process has its own requirements and timelines. We work directly with your utility to design, install, repair, and upgrade building electrical service — and we know how to keep that from stalling a project.
Preventive maintenance
Scheduled inspection of distribution equipment, connections, and controls catches failures while they are still maintenance items rather than emergencies. For manufacturing and healthcare facilities especially, planned downtime is dramatically cheaper than unplanned downtime.
Lighting, Power & Specialty Systems
As a PSE&G Trade Ally, we deliver LED retrofits with utility incentives applied directly to the project — which for qualifying facilities can cover a substantial share of project cost with interest-free on-bill repayment. We handle high-bay, office, retail, exterior, and parking lighting, plus controls and emergency egress lighting.
Standby power for facilities where an outage means lost product, lost data, or lost safety systems. We handle generator installation, transfer switches, load calculations, and the maintenance that ensures the unit actually starts when the power fails.
Level 2 and Level 3 DC fast charging for workplaces, multifamily properties, fleet depots, retail, and public sites — including load management, utility coordination, and New Jersey make-ready incentive programs that can cover a large share of infrastructure cost.
Submetering & power monitoring
Revenue-grade submeters (such as the SATEC EM133) to bill tenants for actual consumption, allocate energy costs across departments or EV charging, and monitor building power — installed and configured, current transformers and communications included.
Structured cabling, network infrastructure, fiber, and low-voltage systems for commercial facilities throughout the tri-state area.
Commercial video surveillance and credential-based door access — designed, installed, and serviced by the same contractor handling your fire alarm and power.
Design, installation, service, inspection, and 24/7 monitoring for commercial fire alarm systems. We work on Siemens, Simplex, and Tyco systems — whether yours is already installed or currently going in, we can service it, expand it, and troubleshoot ground faults, trouble codes, and device additions.
