Bloomfield’s housing stock ranges from Victorian through postwar, and the electrical tells the story of every decade since. What we find most often:

- Cloth-insulated wiring and knob-and-tube remnants — still live in some of the oldest Bloomfield houses, and a genuine safety and insurance concern.
