The building was occupied the entire time, and the walls were finished plaster over masonry. Opening them was not an option, so the system was run in surface conduit, laid out to keep device spacing and coverage correct without cutting into a single apartment. That is the normal condition in this city, not the exception. A contractor who prices a job like that as though the walls are open is going to be wrong by a wide margin, and the owner is the one who finds out.

Working in Union City
